Stories of the “13th Zodiac sign” do the rounds every couple of years and I get lots of emails and messages from people freaking out that their zodiac sign is wrong, and their whole life is a lie!

How could astrologers have missed something so huge?

Below is my sidereal natal chart which displays Ophiuchus and gives me a Taurus Ascendant, Sagittarius Sun and Libra Moon (instead of my Gemini Ascendant, Capricorn Sun and Scorpio Moon using the tropical Zodiac!)

The Zodiac Signs: Pisces

Sagittarius is a Mutable Fire Sign

Pisces is the twelfth sign of the Zodiac. Pisces season begins at the tipping point between winter and spring where the ice and frost begins to thaw and the light and dark in the northern hemisphere are in balance. Pisces season coincides with with Ostara and the precedes the much anticipated springtime.

Subscriber Charts

Jupiter which rules her Sagittarius planets is in alluring Scorpio (highlighted in blue). Jupiter is a bit wide to be considered part of the stellium which spans her third and fourth house.

Angelique

There’s a fair amount of water in Angelique’s natal chart, most prominently her Sun and Mercury in Pisces in the 5th house of hobbies, children and affairs of the heart.

She also has Mars in Scorpio rising which makes a soft aspect to her sun, fuelling her interest in 5th house matters, and may also give her a feisty edge! Though she may not use this feistiness in a super-direct way – unless she uses it to fight a cause that she really cares about.

Tracey

Another watery chart! Moon, Jupiter, Midheaven, Chiron and Pluto in water signs!

In this chart you can see Tracey has a Pisces Moon in the 6th house which is sextile her Natal Neptune (modern ruler of Pisces). This gives Tracey a super-Piscean feel to her lunar placement and indicates she needs to do something meaningful in her work.

She may struggle to have a regular routine and may flourish in chaos, there could have been a health issue which caused this, or she may do caring work, potentially in healthcare where she is able to help others in need.

Paired with her Aquarius Sun it certainly feels as though she has the fire to work towards a cause and wants to leave the world in a better condition than when she got here.

Rhianna

Sun in Pisces Rhianna exudes that dreamy Piscean allure, he back story describes some of the more challenging aspects a Pisces can face growing up.

She has a lot of cardinal energy in her chart with her Moon and Venus rising in fiery Aries Ascendant PLUS Jupiter in Aries in her first house, and Saturn, Uranus and Neptune high up in the 9th House hovering round her Midheaven.

Steve Carrell

I just had to share Pisces Moon Steve Carrell’s chart. A hugely successful comedic actor, we all recognise him from at least one of his roles. But for me it has to be his most notable performance as Michael Scott, Regional Manager for Dunder Mifflin Scranton Branch.

Yep, his role in The Office—The most streamed TV Series on Netflix in 2020—as the spotlight-hogging, highly-sensitive and over-emotional boss who has no sense of boundaries and turns everything he does into a performance.

Carrell was born just after a Full Moon with his Sun in the final degrees of Leo, and his Moon opposite in the early degrees of Pisces in conjunction with exaggerator Jupiter who expands his overly-emotional lunar placement into epic proportions.

It is ridiculous to watch the way he behaves and has viewers swaying between endearment to disbelief as his toddler-esque narcissistic personality displays an overblown example of the Leo-Pisces combination.

His Virgo ascendant saves the day as common sense prevails – occasionally!

The Zodiac Signs: Aquarius

Aquarius is a Fixed Air Sign

Aquarius is the eleventh sign of the Zodiac commencing at the heart of winter when the days are short and cold in the northern hemisphere. Aquarius season coincides with Imbolc (Candlemas) and Valentines day.

*This does not make Aquarius a water sign, though he often is mistaken as one due to his water-bearing image!

Tracey

Would you look at that heavy anchoring of planets scraping the bottom of this natal chart?! Soooo much Capricorn! But trailing behind all the ‘goaty’ stuff is an Aquarius Sun poking his head out from the depths in search for a little fresh air!

Now, I do get the sense of a lot of heavy expectation for this Stellium with unconventional Uranus, nebulous Neptune, mindful Mercury, serious Saturn and attractive Venus completing this sequence of planets. And being placed in the fourth house, the expectation and responsibility is almost certainly connected to traditional family values.

However, that fifth house Aquarius Sun might have something to say about that! There are two types of Aquarian—Saturnian and Uranian—So depending on they type Tracey is, she could be comfortable with these expectations, or totally push back and do things her own way, upsetting the status-quo.

With chart ruler Venus retrograde in Capricorn, she certainly won’t be reaching the heights other people set for her in a hurry. Tracey will be going on her own journey to discover her true values which she will apply in all areas of her life. And Aquarians almost always opt for humanistic equality and fairness.

Ashley Mae

Another chart, almost identical to the previous as Ashley was born 6 days prior to Tracey. They have almost the exact same line-up of planets, but Ashely also has her Moon in Capricorn and her Aquarius Sun falls in the fourth house.

So again, family takes on a particularly strong emphasis with this chart, and this is someone who won’t fit into the typical ‘cookie cutter’ of their family’s expectations.

If she comes from a large family then it’s possible she could feel like one of many, and her way of standing out was to develop her own unique gifts which helped to make her stand out.

Home may have had a community feel making Ashley feel at home in social situations, able to relate to people from all walks of life.

That said with so many planets below the horizon this is a private and boundaried chart and it could take a while to really get to know her.

➡️ Ashely’s Moon is on Tracey’s IC and I bet they would have a lot of similar stories to exchange about their early life and upbringing! I would imagine with packed fourth houses like these, both Tracey and Ashley would uncover some interesting finds in their family genealogy, should they decide to pursue it.

The Zodiac Signs: Capricorn

Capricorn is a Cardinal Earth Sign

Capricorn is the tenth sign of the Zodiac. It begins on the Winter Solstice which marks the Shortest day in the northern hemisphere. Capricorn season coincides with Christmas, Yule and New Year celebrations in the Gregorian calendar and instigates the period of the year where most people engage in their annual power-down! Ready for a fresh reboot in the new year, most of us make personal resolutions of goals and ambitions we wish to achieve.

Amanda

The Sun in the above chart has just set over the western horizon (the descendant) in the sign of Sea Goat Capricorn. In fact all of Amanda’s planets are below the horizon except for adventurous Jupiter sitting up in the eight house.

Amanda has a stellium in Capricorn including her Sun, charming Venus, Dreamy Neptune and quizzical Mercury. Though Capricorn has a reputation for their harsh and practical ability, Neptune is very close to Mercury clouding judgement. Neptune and Venus being so close to one another they create a fluffy romanticism, softening this Capricorn stellium, which most might normally contribute to a more stoic and unflinching exterior!

Not to say that is a bad thing, it’s just not so typically Capricorn. However, Amanda’s fun-loving fifth house Sagittarius Moon is in conjunction with Saturn so there is a very practical and structured sense to her feeling realms, helping to ground some of that romanticism while still finding time for some serious fun!

One of my wonderful subscribers, Katie, has a fiery stellium in Sagittarius including Uranus, Sun, Venus, Mercury and Neptune.

Jupiter which rules her Sagittarius planets is in alluring Scorpio. Jupiter is a bit wide to be considered part of the stellium which spans her third and fourth house.

Leflora

Would you look at that Sagittarius stellium rising up on the eastern horizon? This is Leflora’s chart, another of my wonderful subscribers. Leflora has Sun, Ascendant, Uranus, Venus, Saturn and Mercury in Sagittarius. This means she was born at sunrise. It’s a similar stellium to Katie’s (above) but has a decidedly different feel to it as some of the planets are different.

The ruling planet of her stellium is Jupiter in Aquarius which happens to be in conjunction with her Moon also in Aquarius.

USA

After sharing a little about my awesome trip to New York in 2018, I thought I’d share the USA’s birth chart for the date the declaration of independence was signed. I can’t believe I actually remembered the date correctly – not bad for a British lass but perhaps to be expected as an astrologer!

The USA has Sun in Cancer, Moon in Aquarius and Sagittarius Rising.

Billie Eilish

Record breaker and award winner Billie Eilish has an adventurous stellium in Sagittarius at the top of her chart including her Sun, Venus and Pluto all sitting around her Midheaven (MC). Her MC isn’t included as part of the stellium as it isn’t a planet but an axis. However, it does mean that her stellium is expressed through her profession and public image.

Jupiter in Cancer is the ruler (dispositor) of her all Sagittarius planets is Jupiter in Cancer.

She also has a stellium in Aquarius including her Moon, Uranus and Neptune giving her a super quirky and original flavour. She’ll never do what’s expected of her.

Scorpio is a Fixed Water Sign

Scorpio is the eighth sign of the Zodiac. Scorpio season is at the point of autumn where the plants and foliage are decaying and the leaves are dropping. It is also when we celebrate the thinning of the veil between this world and the spirit realm: Hallowe’en.

This is Laura’s chart; she has a Scorpio stellium comprising of alluring Pluto, her Sun, stoic Saturn and mischievous Mercury. Saturn is Laura’s chart ruler as it is the ruling planet of her Capricorn ascendant.

The traditional ruler of Scorpio, Mars (which is the dispositor of her stellium) is in responsible Capricorn. Saturn and Mars are in mutual reception (in each other’s signs) so in a sense they’re house sitting for each other and on the phone whenever they have a problem, coming up with useful solutions for each other!

Not only that, but they’re sextile as well! A very positive relationship between these two planets and signs who are both concerned with strategy and control.

Libra season coincides with the pagan festival of Mabon and we all start wrapping up warm and see the leaves changing colour in the trees.

This chart displays a packed stellium containing the Sun, Saturn, Jupiter, the Moon and Pluto in loveable Libra, plus Mercury out-of-sign in secretive Scorpio.

This has an added Libran flavour as this stellium hovers over the descendant spanning the 6th and 7th house in her chart straddling the areas of work and daily grind, and also the relationship zone of others which zodiac sign Libra is very concerned with.

Added to that, Venus the ruling planet (dispositor) of her Libra stellium is in intense Scorpio in the 7th house of relationships. This emphasises Cara’s relationships and points the focus away from herself, prioritising other people’s needs.

Virgo season coincides with harvest time and children return to school after the summer – a time of work and focus after a long summer break.

Planets spanning the 3rd and 4th house make up subscriber Roseanne’s Virgo stellium. It’s the little things that matter for Venus in Virgo, and she is followed by inquisitive Mercury (in his own sign), the vibrant Sun, intense Pluto and quirky Uranus.

Venus is quite wide as she has just entered Virgo at 00° but she is still included in the stellium even though the next planet in line is Mercury at 15°.

Debra G

Debra has probing Mars and intense Pluto, plus a loveable Moon–Venus conjunction in Virgo forming another stellium – but this one spans the 8th and 9th houses. This is someone who ponders the bigger questions in life and isn’t scared to dig deep in search of the answers.

Debra may find it difficult to relate to her Leo placements as Uranus can often make us disown particular aspects of the chart it touches.

She also has a powerful Virgo stellium with alluring Pluto, magnetic Mars, the caring Moon and charming Venus in the zodiac’s most humble and spotlight-shunning sign, Virgo.

So there may well be a conflict for Debra where she may desire recognition, while also finding it difficult to accept the accolade she receives.
