New version of Four Pillars of Wisdom is released
Today I’ve got two pieces of news about Four Pillars of Wisdom.
First of all, the prices are reduced on 40%! You know it’s sometimes pretty hard to sell software online in the world where almost everything in the Internet is free. The reason is that I’d like to have more subscribers, and I want you to know that with all the money you pay, you support this project and breathe a life into it.
Secondly, Four Pillars of Wisdom 1.0.2010.404 is released, which contains new important features and bug-fixes:
- NOTE TO ALL USERS: the calculation of True Local Time is corrected! To the calculation procedure a correction related to the Equation of Time is added. It is highly recommended to download and install the new version of the product! All the calculations implemented in Four Pillars of Wisdom are based on the procedures described in Sherrill’s and Chu’s classical book “The astrology of I Ching”. In this book the correction related to the Equation of Time is missing, so the calculation of True Local Time may produce the error about 15 minutes maximum at the dates around 11 February and 3 November. I want to give thanks Harmen Mesker for pointing me at this issue.
- James Legge translation of the I Ching is added;
- Text and layout of pages is corrected;
- New help files and hints for I Ching newbies is added;
- Few minor bug-fixes is added.
